Dairy farm in Zeeland, North Brabant

The other Zeeland...

Everyone knows the province of Zeeland, but did you know that there is a place called Zeeland? This pretty village is in north-eastern Brabant, a virtually undiscovered area near the Brabant town of Uden. This is where the Stroeken family lives: farmer Peter and farmer’s wife Monique and their 3 teenagers Cas, Melle and Loes. They run their dairy farm here where 85 cows are milked every day and 60 calves and young cows also live.

It’s easy to find yourself relaxing in this particularly beautiful spot. The farm is at the end of a cul-de-sac near a beautiful forest. Even when you are arriving you find yourself at peace immediately as the birds chirp away and cows take a rest in the meadow or in the barn.

Here you will also experience Brabant hospitality. Farmer Peter likes to teach you everything about dairy farming, while farmer Monique works with the kids to make delicious ice lollies from the cows’ fresh milk. For them, this fantastic little spot is daily fare, but for guests, this will definitely be the Valhalla of peace and relaxation. This is how beautiful farm life is in Zeeland!

Where do I sleep

Nestled in the outskirts of the village Zeeland, at the end of a cul-de-sac, is this traditional dairy farm owned by Peter, his wife Monique and their three children. It is a lovely, peaceful area where you can get the full farming experience and indulge in the tranquility of the forest right next door.

At Op de Beemd, you stay in one of the 4 luxury Barntents. Our luxury tent has its own bathroom with bath and shower, a large luxury kitchen and the Hay Sleeping Loft. You can also choose the luxury Haytent, the sister of the Barntent with the same large kitchen, its own toilet and 6 sleeping places, including 2 bunk beds and a double bed. You’ll then shower in the washroom.

At this FarmCamps farm, you are guaranteed to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are only 8 luxury tents, so it will never be crowded. The farm is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a super beautiful area.

The luxury tents are placed around a cosy and clear field. From the tents, you have a view of the playground equipment. Right next to the glamping field is the Trenste forest, which you can walk straight into from your tent. How cool is that!

On this location, it is not possible to camp using your own equipment. However, there is a luxury holiday home for 5 people that can be rented. It is not possible to bring your own pets to this farm.

Finding out is fun!

No farm adventure would be complete without learning a thing or two from the professionals. Farmer Peter and his wife Monique take this to heart! So you can look forward to joining Farmer Peter and learning how he milks and cares for his cows and calves together with helping to feed the animals out in the meadow or in the petting and cuddle corner.

If you like to play more, you will certainly get your money’s worth on the farm. Go tobogganing, jumping on the trampoline or building a hut in the woods with your new friends. And we have several wagons you can use to go to the woods or to the stables.
