Take a step back in time!Take a step back in time!

Here, time feels like it has stood still. As you arrive through the winding, tree-lined, uphill road to Den Branderhorst farm your stress will already begin to slip away. Farmer Eddy and his wife Anne-Marie enjoy taking their time to show you how a small-scale dairy farm works.

The cows feel equally stress-free here and are happy to let you walk amongst them for a ‘cow-hugging’ workshop – now that’s a unique experience! One of their four daughters, is completely mad about horses, so naturally you’ll find these here too. Your mini-farmers can help take care of the four ponies or enjoy a pony ride. Experienced riders can even go out on a hack with farmer Eddy.

Farmer Eddy is a social butterfly and will often be found by the campfire in the evenings enjoying a bottle of beer. Here in the so-called ‘Achterhoek’ (a region in the eastern part of The Netherlands) life has never been more peaceful.
